Establishment and History of a Special Statute Region" will take place in the Tessitori Multimedia Room of the Palazzo della Regione FVG (Piazza Guglielmo Oberdan, 5), Trieste.This is the final event in the series of educational seminars entitled Porti, popolazioni, società in un'area di frontiera, promoted by the Department of Humanities (DiSU) under the scientific coordination of professor Tullia Catalan.This final event will be held in collaboration between the Universities of Trieste and Udine on the topic of the constitution and subsequent development of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, established as a special statute region by the constitutional law of 31 January 1963. The meeting will consider both the legal aspects of the Region's constitution and the historical foundations of the region.The program includes presentations by Raoul Pupo (UniTS), Igor Guardiancich (University of Padua), Patrick Karlsen (UniTS), Tullia Catalan (UniTS), Elena D’Orlando (University of Udine), Andrea Tilatti (University of Udine) and Andrea Zannini (University of Udine).
