12 February 2026, 2 - 5 pm Testo evento On Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 2 to 5 pm, in Conference Room 1A, on the first floor of Building D of the University of Trieste Campus, the PNRR CRiStAll Project WORKSHOP "Urban heat island and climate change: models, archetypes and mitigation strategies" will take place.The Workshop, organized as part of the PNRR CRiStAll Project of which UniTs is a partner, presents approaches and tools for analyzing urban heat islands and mitigation strategies in the context of climate change through climate models, urban archetypes, and 3D analysis in a GIS environment.In addition to illustrating the Project's main activities and results, the Workshop will also present initiatives and results related to activities undertaken within the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. The Research project The Workshop will be held in person and on the Teams platform in Italian and Slovenian, with simultaneous translation (available for in-person participants).Participation in the event is free and limited to the Conference Hall's capacity (121 seats).All information and the detailed event program are available in the attachment below.
