On Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the following event will take place in the Aula Bunker / Atrio Conference Center of the Gorizia University Campus, located at Via Alviano 18, Gorizia:

"RRR Lab: Open Final Critics MASTERPLAN Collettivo GOAL"

The RRR Lab students, self-organized into the GOAL "collective," will present the results of the intensive workshop in which they will develop, using an interdisciplinary approach, a Masterplan for two urban areas in Gorizia and Nova-Gorica.

The projects will address various aspects of understanding and interpreting the city, through experimentation with "urban drifts" and design aspects that will encompass architectural, urban, landscape, and infrastructural dimensions, with a view to urban regeneration within the management of the future legacy of the European Capital of Culture. The work will also be complemented by economic, evaluative, and feasibility assessments and reflections.

The final seminar discussing the results on January 16th will begin with a presentation of the projects and the Masterplan by the GOAL Collective, followed by a critique session with RRR Lab partner organizations (Municipality of Gorizia, Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Conservationists of Gorizia, Order of Engineers of Gorizia, GECT), UNITS researchers (Giulia Casolino, Alex Ferletti, Mariacristina D’Oria, Elisabetta Nascig, Vittoria Umani, Camilla Venturini), and RRR Lab instructors and invited external experts.
