CROSS CITY LINES. Exploring the Space Between Art and Pavilions

The 3rd seminar "On the Intangible and the Temporary: The Fake is the Authentic" entitled "CROSS CITY LINES. Exploring the Space Between Art and Pavilions" will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 2:30 pm in Gorizia, Room 401 of the PUG Headquarters, at Via Alviano 18.

The students of RRR Lab, self-organized into the GOAL collective, will present a series of temporary pavilions designed to celebrate the closing of the GO!2025 event. Each structure, with its own distinct languages ​​and approaches, is inserted into the urban space as an ephemeral presence and meeting point. Each pavilion features a contemporary artwork, sparking a dialogue between architecture and art. The pavilions together create a "free and widespread exhibition" that unfolds within the Gorizia–Nova Gorica cross-border urban system, inviting new explorations.

The seminar will begin with a presentation of the projects by the GOAL Collective, followed by a critique session with the partner institutions (Municipality of Gorizia, Order of Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservationists of Gorizia, Order of Engineers of Gorizia, GECT), UNITS researchers (Giulia Casolino, Alex Ferletti, Mariacristina D’Oria, Elisabetta Nascig, Vittoria Umani, Camilla Venturini), laboratory teachers and invited experts (Giovanni Fraziano).
