On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., a DiSU seminar entitled "Welcoming Relationships. Personal and Community Actions to Combat Addictions That Make History" will be held in the Aula Magna at Via Principe di Montfort 3, Trieste.

The fifty years of activity of the "Giovanni Micesio" Youth Solidarity Center in Udine in combating addiction and distress among young people and adults provide an opportunity to reconstruct the values, methodologies, and practices that make this experience so relevant, despite the new and increasingly complex manifestations of these phenomena. This reconstruction, presented in the book "Welcoming Relationships. A History of Personal and Community Actions to Combat Addiction" (FrancoAngeli) by Anna Zenarolla (DiSU researcher), offers an opportunity for reflection and discussion with students, professionals, and social and healthcare workers engaged in combating addiction among young people and adults.
