BUILDING THE ENCOUNTER. PLACES THAT UNITE

curated by Thomas Bisiani, Alessio Bortot, Giulia Piccinin, Adriano Venudo

Presentation and screening of the 4 short films

The 2nd seminar "There Was a Rendez-Vous" entitled "Building the Encounter. Places that Unite" will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 4:30 PM, in Room 401 of the PUG Headquarters, at Via Alviano 18.

Introduction: Thomas Bisiani, Alessio Bortot, Giulia Piccinin, Adriano Venudo

RRR Lab students, self-organized into the GOAL collective, will present short films titled "Building the Encounter. Places that Unite," which narrate the cross-border urban system of Gorizia Nova-Gorica. These shorts, in preparation for the closing of the GO!2025 event, aim to analyze, study, and above all narrate the two cities from various perspectives, highlighting their complexities and contradictions, rhythms and ways of using them, but also the beauty of the "body of the city."

The screening will be followed by a public discussion and debate with students from the GOAL collective, RRR Lab faculty, invited local authorities (the Municipality of Gorizia, the EGTC, the Order of Engineers of Gorizia, the Order of Architects, Landscape Architects, Planners, and Conservationists of Gorizia), and members of the research group from the University of Trieste.

The seminar is open to the public and is part of RRR Lab's third mission activities.
