On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, the SBA Information Point, located in the central Building A of the Piazzale Europa Campus (left wing, ground floor), will host the meeting “The Dark Side of AI: Supercharged and Emotions”.

The speakers will be Matilde Fontanin, a librarian at the University of Trieste and a PhD in Documentary, Linguistic, and Literary Sciences, and Elisabetta Pozzetto, a professional journalist and PhD student in Circular Economy at the Department of Economics, Business, Mathematics, and Statistics at the University of Trieste.

Scams, harassment, stereotypes, hate. Online phenomena are being overtaken by AI, which preys on our emotions. Knowing the traps helps reduce the risk of becoming unwitting victims and seize the opportunities offered by new technologies.
