The event will take place on Monday, 20 October 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Room 401, 4th floor, Gorizia University Campus, Via Alviano 18.

Introduction: Alessio Bortot and Giulia Piccinin

Cinema has always depicted cities, architecture and landscapes, in a more or less conscious manner. This meeting aims to examine the use of this form of representation in architectural storytelling, focusing in particular on the idea of narration linked to documentaries, but also on the involvement of sound, understood as a fundamental component in the knowledge and perception of a place.
