The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, under the patronage of the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Trieste, is organizing the third Regional Day dedicated to Caregivers: a special event to celebrate and highlight the fundamental role of those who care for family members and vulnerable individuals every day.

Caregiver Day will take place on Monday, October 6, 2025, in Gorizia, at the Palazzo della Regione FVG, Auditorium of Friulian Culture, at Via Roma 5.

The Third Regional Caregiver Day is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the role of those who care for family members and vulnerable individuals every day. This year's edition focuses on two key themes: innovation and the economic impact of care.
Innovation brings new opportunities: digital tools, support platforms, local services, and training programs that help caregivers better manage their daily lives, communicate with professionals, and find moments of respite. The economic value of their work is clearly evident: a commitment that supports the social system, requiring dedication and sacrifice.
