On Thursday, 9 October 2025, at 4 p.m., in conference room 1A of building D, on the Piazzale Europa 1 campus, there will be a round table discussion with Lucio Caracciolo, Director of “Limes, Rivista Italiana di Geopolitica”, on the topic "Is the dream of law over? War, Europe and Geopolitics", organised by the IUSLIT Department and moderated by professor Mauro Barberis. 

These days, Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing massacre of Palestinians in Gaza since 7 October are the subject of narratives about the impotence of Europe and international law. Legal experts such as Luigi Daniele and Maurizio Maresca, political scientists such as Giuseppe Ieraci and comparative law experts such as Roberto Louvin will discuss these issues with Lucio Caracciolo.
