The Announcement for the CUG's Degree and PhD Awards for the year 2025 has been published.

These are the Prizes:

- no. 1 (one) prize for a Bachelor's degree thesis, in the amount of € 300.00 (three hundred/00);
- no. 2 (two) prizes for single-cycle Master's/Master's degree theses, amounting to € 500.00 (five hundred/00) each;
- No. 1 (one) prize for a PhD thesis, in the amount of € 500.00 (five hundred/00)

gross of the statutory charges provided for.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from the University of Trieste with thesis discussed starting from the summer session of the academic year 2023/2024 and by July 2025 of the summer session of the academic year 2024/2025;
- Single-cycle LM/LM of the University of Trieste with thesis discussed starting from the summer session of the academic year 2023/2024 and by July 2025 of the summer session of the academic year 2024/2025;
- PhD students with thesis discussed from January 2024 until July 2025, within the framework of PhD courses whose administrative headquarters is the University of Trieste, or within the framework of PhD courses activated by other universities in agreement with the University of Trieste, with supervising professors belonging to the University of Trieste;

who have not been successful in previous editions of the present Call.

Theses must have deepened and emphasised, also in an original, useful and innovative way, the issues of relevance to the CUG.
The following general issues of relevance to the CUG, particularly with regard to public administrations, will be considered:
1) organisational/workplace well-being also as a consequence of the impact of digital technologies;
2) actions and tools to support vulnerabilities;
3) measures to prevent and combat discrimination.

The deadline for submitting applications is 4 September 2025.

The application must be submitted exclusively online by logging in with your university credentials.
