A selection procedure has been announced for the awarding of a Degree Prize in the amount of one thousand four hundred euros to honour the memory of prof. Bruno Martinelli, orthopaedic surgeon, university lecturer and former Head of the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Division of the Ospedale Maggiore of Trieste and Director of the University Orthopaedic Clinic of the University of Trieste, who passed away on 7 August 2024.
The Prize is open to a deserving student in possession of a Single-Cycle Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Trieste in the academic year 2024/2025 with study and research interests in the field of orthopaedics.

Those eligible to participate in the competition are those who:
a. hold a single-cycle degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Trieste in the academic year 2024/2025;
b. have written a degree thesis concerning Orthopaedics and Traumatology;
c. are committed to continuing their studies in the field of orthopaedics.

The application must be submitted exclusively online by 13:00 on 15 December 2025 by logging in with your University credentials.
