The call for applications for the Pianciamore Study Awards for Excellence in Medicine has been published. The initiative is promoted and financed by the ‘Pianciamore Foundation - Hazel M. Cole Goodness Award - ETS’: this is the third edition within a ten-year programme, for a total commitment of 100,000 euros, which will be used to award excellence in medicine at the University of Trieste. Each year a call for entries is issued for a prize in Cardiology, while the second prize alternates between other medical and surgical disciplines. The call for entries is aimed at outstanding graduates in Medicine and Surgery who intend to continue their studies with a postgraduate training course.

This year's prizes, each in the amount of five thousand euros (gross of statutory fees), are as follows

- 1 ‘Cardiology Prize’ for the discipline of Cardiology (MED 11) or with a thesis in the Cardiovascular field;

- 1 ‘Other medical-surgical discipline prize’, for the discipline of Neurology.

The deadline for submitting applications is 19 June 2025.

The application must be submitted exclusively online by logging in with your university credentials.
