The Department of Legal, Language, Interpreting, and Translation Studies is hosting the conference titled "Bilingual Lexicography with Italian between the 19th and 20th Centuries: Works, Trends, Explorations", as part of the PRIN ALON Project No. 20222FC7A8.

The event will take place on February 14, 2025, in Room F1, Via Filzi 14, Trieste, offering a significant opportunity to delve into the evolution of bilingual lexicography between Italian and other European languages.

Scholars from Italian and international universities will explore the history, characteristics, and future directions of bilingual dictionaries, presenting insights on various language combinations: Italian-German, Italian-English, Italian-Spanish, Italian-French, and dialectal lexicography.

Participation is free, but registration is required. It will also be possible to attend the event remotely via Teams.
