Data avviso 23 December, 2024 Testo avviso The steering committee of Psicoattività, the association promoting the Psychology Festival in Friuli Venezia Giulia, has announced the call for the Third Prize for Innovative Research in the Field of Psychology, aimed at young psychologists and researchers under 36. The Research PrizeThe contest aims to reward research papers or master's theses or doctoral dissertations focused on innovative topics in the field of psychology, utilizing an empirical approach. These works must have been published or discussed between September 1, 2023, and February 1, 2025.The purpose of the prize, in line with the goals of the Festival, is to enhance psychological culture in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and promote scientific initiatives aimed at the development and dissemination of psychology in its various branches and applications, in order to improve the well-being and quality of life of individuals.Young graduates or researchers under 36, who have obtained a Master's degree or a PhD in Psychology, are eligible to participate.Three cash prizes will be awarded: €600 for the first place, €300 for the second, and €150 for the third place.Registrations are open until February 16, 2025, on the website psicoattivita.it. Psychology FestivalThe Psychology Festival is a traveling event featuring in-depth meetings dedicated to spreading psychological knowledge and breaking down stereotypes about the discipline. The fifth edition of the Festival, titled "Intelligences: From Natural Intelligence to Artificial Intelligence," will take place between March and April 2025, in the cities of Trieste, Gorizia, Gradisca d'Isonzo, Cormons, Palmanova, and Tavagnacco.The Festival, supported by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, is made possible thanks to the collaboration of the municipalities of Gorizia, Cormons, Gradisca d'Isonzo, Palmanova, and Tavagnacco, with partnerships from the University of Trieste and the SASS of Nova Gorica.
