On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 6:00 PM, the presentation of the book by Luciano Celli "Trieste, A Beauty", EUT Edizioni Università di Trieste, curated by Giovanni Fraziano, will take place at Stazione Rogers, Riva Grumula 14, Trieste.

Along with the author, Giovanni Fraziano, Thomas Bisiani, Lorenzo Michelli, Adriano Venudo, and Samuel Iuri will also speak about the book.

The author writes about a city, Trieste, with a metaphysical atmosphere, rich in invisible presences, and very interesting for its rich cultural, artistic, and architectural heritage: a city of foundation, a small St. Petersburg, presenting unique and fascinating aspects. It’s an invitation to fly over the city with the author on the wings of imagination.

"Trieste, a beauty," writes Luciano Celli: What we are in. Here, now. Since beauty, in the circularity between the one who looks and the one who is looked at with what is observed, calls, with the conception of oneself, the fullness of one's feeling of the world. A statement, an observation, but wanting much more.

Luciano Celli, born in Trieste in 1940, carries out both sculptor and architect activities with complementary intentions: always with particular attention to the past, seen in synchronic terms as if it were an eternal present.
