On Monday, Nov.4 (from 2:30 p.m.) and Tuesday, November 5 (from 9:30 a.m.), 2024, the Doctoral Conference “The Public Dimension of Knowledge: Disclosure, Censorships, Fictions” will be held at the University of Udine, in the Council Chamber of Palazzo di Toppo Wassermann (Via Gemona 92) .

The event is organized by the Udine-Trieste Inter-atheneo Doctoral Program in “Historical, Philosophical and Political-Social Studies”.

The main focus of the conference will be to examine the formation--and transformation--of knowledge in relation to those who produce, control or transmit it, and the different audiences to whom it is addressed. The analysis will be divided into three subsections, corresponding to thematic panels: one devoted to processes of dissemination, one to censorship, and the third to the distortion of knowledge, caused by falsification or error.

The detailed program of the conference can be found in the attachment below.
