On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the University of Trieste, Sala Atti Cacciaguerra, Central Building A, Piazzale Europa 1, a conference entitled “The New Mining Frontiers - Well Dug, Old Mole!” will be held.

After institutional greetings by Rector Roberto Di Lenarda, strategic topics for the mining sector, such as submarine, geothermal and extraterrestrial frontiers, sustainable exploitation of natural resources and mining zoning will be discussed.

During the symposium, organized by DISPES, the second edition of the book “Well Dug, Old Mole!” by Renato Federici (University of Rome “La Sapienza”) will be presented, with a discussion by the author together with prof. Marcello M. Fracanzani, Supreme Court of Cassation Councilor.
