On Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, starting at 9:40 a.m., the workshop of the project “3FiRES” Research on BIPV Photovoltaic Facades for Fire Spread Mechanisms, Structural Failures and Resilience Improvement Methodologies, will be held at the Bachelet Acts Room, central building of the Piazzale Europa complex.

Ongoing activities of the Italy-China bilateral Major Relevance project, involving research groups from the University of Trieste (Chiara Bedon PI) and the State Key Laboratory of Fire Science, University of Science and Technology of China (Yu Wang PI), will be presented.

It will also be an opportunity for in-depth discussions, thanks to talks by international experts in the fields of photovoltaics, fire safety engineering and structural glass.
