The educational objectives of the Master's program are to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the development and application of protocols for post-exercise and post-trauma recovery in athletes and non-athletes. In particular, the program will provide competencies related to the psychophysical characteristics of athletes in different conditions and the effects of exercise and exertion on the body. The main conditions of traumatology in different body districts and specific rehabilitation protocols will be identified. The various methods of investigating exertion and recovery status will be presented. The different recovery methods will be explored in depth and discussed, including an integrative approach and multidisciplinary collaboration. Biomedical topics associated with exercise and recovery will also be discussed. Each topic will strictly adhere to the most recent evidence-based positions. Internship activities, seminars, and laboratory experiences will provide students with practical experience in applying theoretical knowledge, thanks also to collaboration with companies in the sector.
