On Friday, June 7, 2024, at 4 p.m., at the Ugo Morin Lecture Hall (second floor of the H2bis building on campus, 12/1 Valerio Street), an awards ceremony will be held for participants in the provincial phase of the individual competitions of the Mathematics Olympiad in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.

The ceremony will be preceded by a lecture "The mathematics of phase transitions: probabilities and critical thresholds for percolation" by researcher Federico Sau of the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Geosciences, University of Trieste.

High school students, college students and teachers of all school levels are invited to participate.
