The Knowledge Dissemination Office of the University of Trieste is responsible for entering institutional public engagement initiatives on the national IRIS ArTS Resource Management platform – Public Engagement module.

In particular, the Office enters data and information on the initiatives it organizes and promotes, in which the University as a whole is involved (e.g., Trieste Next Festival, Researchers' Night, Rose libri musica vino exhibition).

Among the institutional initiatives included in IRIS ARTS RM-PE in the past, the VQR (Research Quality Assessment) case studies were selected, evaluated by ANVUR on the basis of:

• Social, economic, and cultural impact dimension, considering the ability to enhance knowledge from different areas and sectors.
   
• Relevance to the reference context.
   
• Added value for beneficiaries.
   
• Scientific, organizational, and/or managerial contribution of the proposing structure.
